Glenturret Whisky

Founded in 1775, Glenturret is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries with a rich history. Located on the scenic banks of the Turret River, Glenturret started out as an illegal distillery before being officially recognized in 1826. The distillery has had several owners over the centuries, but has always adhered to traditional methods, which gives it an authentic character.

Region Glenturret

Located in the Southern Highlands, surrounded by green hills and historic charm, the region of Glenturret reflects Scotland's unique whisky tradition. The local water from the Turret River and the use of local barley contribute to Glenturret's distinctive taste.

Glenturret bottlings

Glenturret's most famous bottlings include the Core Range, with the 10 year old, the Triple Wood and the Sherry Edition. These expressions embody the craftsmanship and versatility of Glenturret, from soft and fruity notes to rich and spicy aromas.

How big is Glenturret?

Although not the largest distillery in Scotland, Glenturret plays an important role in the whiskey world. With a capacity of approximately 350,000 liters per year, Glenturret focuses on quality over quantity, ensuring every drop is carefully produced and matured.
